I've never seen the moon blood-red before, and I'm glad I got to see it unobscured by clouds (scattered ones had just passed by before I took this picture).
If you live in the Chicago area, I hope you got a chance to see it.
And taking these kinds of pictures in an urban setting, around overhead wires, takes patience and luck ;)
Oh, and thank you, Mayor Daley the First, for those orange sodium-vapor streetlights that have made it impossible to see any constellations in the night sky. And they haven't stopped crime, either.
