An historic theater in Bronzeville, Chicago's "Black Metropolis," open to visitors during the Chicago Architecture Foundation's Open House Chicago 2014.
This second-floor dance hall hosted the likes of Nat King Cole, Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf and many more musicians, as well as civil rights leaders, before it went vacant 40 years ago. Bronzeville developer Bernard Loyd is trying to bring it back.
