Three men, three expressions, three points of focus. I love scenes like this because I feel there is just so much story to be told. I see three men in such close proximity to each other, but I feel they are worlds apart. It's this dichotomy that creates a visual tension within the image. This visual tension draws us into the scene where we start to wonder how they relate to each other. As my wife said, there is no communion between them even though they are all communing in their own ways.
